Welcome to Hawkeye Island, home of Bravo Fleet's Task Force 58 Command and Control Headquarters and the Hawkeye Island Marine Base. The island itself is located on the planet of Raeya 3 in the Raeyan Sector, Beta Quadrant. Along with Starbase Bravo orbiting above the planet these two facilities make up Starfleet's official presence in the Sector.

Hawkeye is the new home of Task Force 58's Command Center and residence of the Task Force Commanding Officer, Vice Admiral Christopher Johnson. Starfleet approved and commissioned the building of a Task Force Command Center on the planet to separate it from the increasing diplomatic and economic needs that were being seen on Starbase Bravo.

After commanding the USS Devestator for nearly four years, Admiral Johnson and his crew now reside planet-side and oversee the construction and day-to-day activities of the base and the Task Force.

Also present on the island is the Hawkeye Island Marine Base home to Starfleet's Marine contingent in the sector. This strategic location gives Starfleet the ability for quick insertion missions and to provide for the safety and security of not only the Raeyan people but all of the races that have asked the Federation for their protection.

Raeya 3 itself is also home to the Raeyans, a humanoid race who are the original inhabitants of the planet and still live there today. Raeya is ruled by a governing council composed of representatives from the different areas of the planet called the D'ytal. They have graciously allowed the Federation to come in and set up these operations after past incidents with C'hakilians, Krazzle, Romulans, The League, pirates, and terrorist organizations. Clearly the Raeyan Sector is far from the comfort and shining moments of the Alpha Quadrant and the Federation. The Federation provides the Raeyan people and the entire sector a stable presence and allows the free exchange of ideas.

Bravo Fleet's primary mission is to keep the peace and protect the borders of the Federation and to oversee the exploration and scientific discovery mission of Starfleet. This new center of Fleet activity is sure to grow into itself fast.
